Pooja Hegde Found The 'Mohenjo Daro' Chapter Quite Boring In School!

Actress Pooja Hegde, who will be seen making her Bollywood debut with Ashutosh Gowariker's epic adventure-romance Mohenjo Daro, revealed at an event recently that when in school, she used to get quite bored reading about the era in history books.

During a recent media interaction, Hegde said, "I'd read the chapter on Mohenjo Daro in school and was so bored. I never imagined I will do a film based or set in that era, but the script was so exciting with romance and adventure and intrigue that I just had to do it. The film has made the younger generation pick up history books again and is interested to know things which is great. This film is Ashutosh Gowariker's version of Mohenjo Daro and it will generate curiosity among the audience about the story and the era."

Pooja will be seen romancing Hrithik Roshan in Mohenjo Daro, which also stars Arunoday Singh and Kabir Bedi. The film is slated to release on August 12.
