Alia Bhatt Reveals The Release Date Of 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'

Actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan melted our hearts with their chemistry in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and now the two are all set to win our hearts again. The actors will be next seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which is touted to be the second instalment of a franchise that began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in 2014.

Making an announcement on Twitter, Alia tweeted that the film will release on March 10, 2017. She posted, "Anddddd this dulhania is on wheels...catch up with us again on the 10th of March,2017 #BadrinathKiDulhania !!! @Varun_dvn @ShashankKhaitan".

The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan under the Dharma Productions banner. It was initially believed that the film is a sequel or a continuation of the earlier film, but the second instalment is reportedly a different story.

In the meantime, Varun and Alia will be seen in Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom and Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi, respectively.
